Discover the properties of the bricks

Introducing: Compressed Stabilized Earth Blocks (CSEBs)
Compressed Stabilized Earth Blocks (CSEBs) rival the finest standard bricks available today in terms of strength and durability; are highly cost-effective and environmentally-friendly; can be safely used for construction of multi-storey buildings; and lend themselves to a variety of creative and aesthetically pleasing effects.

Compressed Stabilized Earth Blocks (CSEBs) are now considered to be one of the first choices among appropriate building materials for use in earth architecture and earth construction.

Advantages of Auram-made blocks

The Auram range of presses, achieve a very high compression of up to 1.83 with 20 tons available force.

The high compression ratio achieved by the press produces exceptionally strong blocks, allowing multi-story buildings or large spans to be constructed.

The micro adjustment of the lid ensures very accurate blocks, with less than 1mm difference in height. These in turn save mortar. Plain and hollow blocks need only 1 cm of stabilized earth mortar. Interlocking 245&295 blocks, require only 1mm of stabilized earth glue.Dry Interlocking blocks 250&300 are dry stacked and a concret grout is cost in the holes to build all vertical and horizontal joints.

The desired height of the Auram blocks can be adjusted. Plain blocks are normally 9 cm high, but can be made any height from 5 to 10 cm in increments of 5mm.The Auram Press 3000 can also be used to make tiles 2.5 cm thick.

The block modules have been created to ease the design work for architects and engineers.

The plain, hollow and interlocking block molds for the Auram Presses can produce full, 3/4 and 1/2 size blocks. This helps contractors to do clean and cheap work.

The standard Blocks Plain and Hollow 240 can be combined together, as can the standard Plain and Hollow 290, thanks to identical modules.

Hollow Blocks save up 32.6% of material and provide better heat insulation.

In combination with Mold Plain 240 and Mold Plain 290 a wide variety of Special Blocks like U channels for casting beams, provision and pipes, tiles, can also be made with the Auram Press 3000.

The Hollow Block 390 and Plain Block 190 can be combined together. The Hollow block 390 is normally used for load bearing walls, and the Plain Block 190 for partition wall

Plain Interlocking Blocks can be laid by unskilled labour, which ultimately reduces the cost per square meter of wall.

Hollow Interlocking blocks are specially designed for cyclone and earthquake prone areas. They give vertical and horizontal stiffening of the walls with RCC.

Plain and Hollow Interlocking Blocks 245 can be combined together, and also Plain and Hollow Interlocking Blocks 295.

These blocks are used for building composite columns. The Auram Press 3000 also produces Round Blocks, which can be strengthened with reinforced concrete.

This block is used to create floors and roofs.

This block is used to build vaults and dome.
